What the child sees in WonderKid TV
The kid experience is intentionally narrower than ordinary YouTube: the child browses a feed built from parent-approved sources, with the product’s time and learning rules applied on top.

The feed is designed around four constraints
- Available sources are parent-approved.
- Discovery can be kept inside approved content.
- The viewing player removes much of the surrounding recommendation and comment experience.
- Per-child time and learning rules can change what is available at a given moment.
Parent-approved does not mean “the app picked safe videos for you”
The parent defines the source set. That is a different safety model from relying primarily on automated filtering. It gives the parent more direct control, but it also means the quality of the approved library depends on the parent’s choices.
Why removing the wider recommendation surface matters
Children can be pulled from one harmless video into unrelated content through recommendations, autoplay, comments, or infinite discovery. WonderKid TV’s value proposition is to keep the viewing surface focused on the library the parent intended.

Learning state can affect the feed
If a learning goal is enabled, entertainment content can remain locked until the configured educational requirement is completed. This makes the feed state part of the family routine rather than a permanently open catalog.

Common feed questions
Can children search all of YouTube?
The product is designed so search can be constrained to approved content rather than exposing the full catalog.
Does the feed guarantee every approved video is suitable?
No. Parent approval defines access; parents should still review the sources they approve.
