Recommended workflow
- Start with a small set of channels you already trust.
- Review the actual videos on each channel rather than relying on the channel name alone.
- Approve channels for the specific child profile that should see them.
- Open the kid view and verify the resulting feed.
- Revisit approvals periodically as channels and children change.
Approval is a parent decision, not a safety certification
WonderKid TV gives parents the ability to control the source list. It does not certify that every video ever published by an approved channel is appropriate for every child.
Treat approval as an ongoing parental choice. Channel content can evolve, and suitability depends on the child and family.
What happens to search and discovery
When search is enabled for a child, the product is designed to keep discovery constrained to approved content rather than turning the child loose on the full YouTube catalog.
This makes the product most useful for parents who already know which creators they trust and want a cleaner way for children to access those sources.
Keep the approved set understandable
Large libraries become harder to audit. A smaller set also makes reports easier to interpret because the parent can recognize the sources behind the watch history and topic mix.

Common approval questions
Can I remove a channel after approving it?
Yes. Parent controls include the ability to change what a child is allowed to access.
Is an approved channel automatically educational?
No. “Approved” means the parent allowed it; it is not an educational or safety certification.
