1. Create a child profile
Profiles are the unit of personalization in WonderKid TV. Use a separate profile when children need different approved channels, limits, or learning settings.
For a multi-child household, start with one profile and finish its setup before duplicating the process for the next child. That makes it easier to verify which rules belong to whom.
2. Approve channels before handing over the device
WonderKid TV is designed around explicit parent approval. A child’s feed is built from sources the parent allows rather than from an unrestricted recommendation stream.
Start small. It is easier to add another trusted channel later than to review an overly broad initial library.
3. Add time and learning rules
You can use per-child daily watch limits and learning features to fit the product into your family routine. Learning goals can be used to make educational activity a prerequisite before entertainment content is available.
Active-learning modules add periodic questions. These are a structure tool, not a guarantee of educational outcomes.
4. Verify the experience as the child will see it
Before relying on any parental-control setup, open the kid view yourself. Confirm the approved sources, search behavior, learning state, and limits match your intention.
No parental-control product replaces parental judgment. Revisit the approved channel list and settings as a child’s interests, age, and routine change.
Common setup questions
Should I approve many channels at once?
No. A small starter list is easier to audit and expand intentionally.
Can siblings use different settings?
Yes. Use separate child profiles so controls and reports do not have to be shared.
