2. How We Use Information

We use the collected information only for:

1. App Functionality - Authenticating parent accounts, displaying approved video content, enforcing screen time limits
2. Parental Controls - Allowing parents to manage approved channels, providing watch history reports, enabling screen time monitoring
3. App Improvement - Fixing bugs and improving performance

We do NOT use children's information for:

• Behavioral advertising
• Targeted marketing
• Profiling or tracking across apps/websites
• Selling to third parties

3. Information Sharing

We do NOT sell or rent personal information. The following service providers process data to deliver app functionality:

How We Obtain Consent

1. Account Creation: Only parents/guardians can create accounts using their email and password
2. Password Verification: Access to parental settings requires password re-entry
3. Child Profile Creation: Parents explicitly add and name child profiles

Parental Rights Under COPPA

Parents have the right to:

1. Review their child's personal information
2. Delete their child's information and account
3. Refuse further collection of their child's information
4. Opt-out of any data collection

5. Data Security

We protect information through:

• Secure authentication via Firebase Auth

How to Delete Data

7. Third-Party Services

YouTube API Services

• Purpose: Video content delivery and playback
• YouTube Terms of Service: youtube.com/t/terms
• Google Privacy Policy: policies.google.com/privacy
• Videos are streamed directly from YouTube. WonderKid TV limits discovery to parent-approved channels, but channel content can change.
• Playback requests go directly to YouTube. YouTube may process standard technical data such as IP address, device/browser information, and interaction data under Google's policies.
• WonderKid TV uses YouTube's Privacy-Enhanced Mode. Google states that this prevents an embedded view from personalizing the viewer's YouTube experience; YouTube may still serve non-personalized ads.

Firebase (Google Cloud)

• Purpose: Authentication, database, cloud functions

8. Children's Privacy

We are committed to protecting children's privacy:

• No collection of personal information from children without parental consent
• No behavioral advertising to children
• No social features or public profiles
• No in-app purchases accessible to children
• No links to external websites in kid mode
• Parental gate for all settings and account management

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify parents of material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date and providing in-app notification for significant changes.
