Why WonderKid TV Exists
It started with a simple, frustrating experience that every parent knows too well.
My kids were watching YouTube, and within minutes they'd stumbled from an educational science video into something completely inappropriate — scary animations, bizarre content, and videos clearly not meant for children. The algorithm didn't care about my child's safety.
I tried YouTube Kids. It was better, but still showed ads, still used algorithms to recommend content, and still surfaced videos I'd never approve. I wanted full control — I wanted to pick exactly which channels my kids could watch, and I wanted to know exactly what they were watching.
So I built WonderKid TV.

What Makes Us Different
WonderKid TV isn't another content recommendation engine. It's a parent-first control layer over YouTube. You choose every single channel your child sees. No algorithm. No suggestions. No surprises.
But we didn't stop there. We added learning goals, so screen time becomes an opportunity for education. Kids complete quizzes and educational content before entertainment unlocks. It turns "just watching videos" into active, engaged learning.
We built detailed watch reports so you know exactly how screen time is spent — not just the total minutes, but which videos were watched, which were skipped, and what topics your child engaged with most.

We believe kids can learn incredible things from YouTube. The world's best educators, scientists, and storytellers share content there every day. The problem was never the content — it was the lack of parental control over what gets surfaced.
